MARSHFIELD – Jake Scheppler poured in 28 points to lead the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball team to a 72-62 win over previously unbeaten UW-Richland Center on Wednesday night at the Marauder Gym.
The Marauders improve to 3-1 and 1-0 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference, while UW-Richland falls to 4-1 overall.
Cullen Haldeman added 19 points for UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
The Marauders are off until after the Thanksgiving holiday when they will host UW-Marinette at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28.
