YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Cale Zuiker, a 2011 graduate of Marshfield High School, had nine points in Youngstown State’s 60-59 win over St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday.
Zuiker, a freshman forward, made 3 of 4 shots from 3-point range in six minutes of playing time off the bench for the Penguins, who improved to 4-1 this season.
In four games, Zuiker has played 14 minutes, scoring 12 points and grabbing two rebounds. He is 4 of 7 shooting and 4 of 6 on 3-pointers.
Youngstown State opens Horizon League play with games Thursday at Detroit and Saturday at Wright State.
