STRATFORD – The Stratford wrestling team went 4-1 and placed second at the 2011 Schoenherr Multidual on Saturday at Stratford High School.
The Tigers beat Eau Claire North 60-13, Chequamegon 76-6, Phillips 63-16 and Mondovi 78-6, but suffered a 48-24 loss to undefeated champion Chippewa Falls in Round Four and ended up second.
Phil Sersch (126 pounds), Dondrick Tackes (182) and Andrew Murdaugh (285) all went 5-0 for Stratford. Andrew Schreiner (120), Dylan Widmann (145), Kellen Bornbach (160) and Caleb Bryant (220) each were 4-1 for the Tigers.
Stratford hosts Nekoosa on Thursday.
