WESTON – Marshfield won all but two events to cruise past D.C. Everest 110-56 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys swimming dual meet Thursday at D.C. Everest.
Aaron Scheets, Tom Stevning-Roe, Jake Akin and Michael Josephson teamed to win the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays for Marshfield and the four also won individual events.
Scheets won the 200 IM (2:15.31) and the 100 backstroke (59.92), Akin took first in the 100 freestyle (54.50), Josephson won the 50 freestyle (24.67) and Stevning-Roe beat teammate Phil Kubica by nine seconds to win the 100 butterfly.
Kubica grabbed the Tigers other victory, winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.66.
Marshfield will be at the Rhinelander Invitational on Saturday.
