MENASHA – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball team fell behind by double digits in the first half and couldn’t recover, losing to UW-Fox Valley 64-48 on Saturday afternoon.
Jesse Bejcek scored 13 points, Brandon Herr had 12 and Jake Scheppler chipped in 10 for the Marauders, who fall to 5-3 this season.
Fox Valley surged to a 38-24 lead by halftime and the Marauders were outscored 26-24 in the second half.
Marshfield hosts UW-Barron County on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
