MENASHA – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team got back on the winning track, edging UW-Fox Valley 68-63 on Saturday afternoon.
The Marauders, which lost their first game earlier this week after winning their first eight, improve to 9-1.
Paige Albrecht scored 20 points, Marissa Draxler added 13, Ashley Pongratz had 11 and Tiffany Becker scored 10 for Marshfield.
Pongratz and Bailey Klieforth each had eight rebounds.
The Marauders host UW-Barron County at 5 p.m. Monday.
