Marshfield JV boys basketball team beats D.C. Everest for third straight win

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield JV boys basketball team jumped ahead 16-5 after the first quarter and cruised to a 53-36 win over D.C. Everest on Friday night at Marshfield High School.

Alex Strege scored 18 points, Jeff Allison added 16 points and six rebounds and Craig Serchen scored 10 points for the Tigers, who improve to 4-4 and 2-2 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference with their third straight win.

Eight different Tigers scored at least a point in the victory.

The Tigers play at Tomah on Tuesday.
