Neillsville overwhelms Columbus Catholic girls basketball

MARSHFIELD – The Neillsville girls basketball team continued its dominance of the Cloverbelt Conference East Division with a 65-15 win over Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Tuesday night at Columbus High School.

Jenny Lindner scored 15 points for the Warriors, who improve to 11-0 overall and 8-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Neillsville has won 10 of its 11 games by at least 25 points and in holding the Dons to 15 points, it has kept an opponent under 20 points for the fifth time this season.

Elizabeth Manlick scored 11 of the Dons’ 15 points.

Neillsville led 19-4 after one quarter and 35-9 at halftime.

Columbus (4-7, 3-5 Cloverbelt East) hosts Augusta on Thursday.
