WINONA, Minn. – Katie Wolff, a 2009 graduate of Marshfield High School, is a junior on the Winona State University women’s basketball team.
Wolff has played in all 17 games this season for the Warriors, an NCAA Division II school, starting 15. She leads the team in steals with 23 and assists at 3.8 per game, and ranks third on the team in scoring, averaging 8.9 points per contest. Wolff has made 22 of 77 3-point attempts (28.6 percent) and 31 of 37 free throws (83.8 percent) for Winona State, which is 11-6 and 6-5 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
The Warriors, winners of four games in a row, play their next four games at home starting with contests against Wayne State on Saturday and Augustana (ND) on Sunday.
