SPENCER – All 13 Spencer players scored at least two points as the Rockets blasted winless Granton 65-25 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Friday night at Spencer High School.
Joe Meyers led the way for the Rockets with 14 points and Jeremiah Cattanach added 10 as Spencer crawled back to the .500 mark at 8-8 overall and 6-8 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton drops to 0-16 and 0-14 in the conference.
Spencer led 16-6 after the first quarter and 33-10 by halftime as it dominated from the start.
The Rockets play a nonconference game at Rib Lake on Monday and returned to conference play next Thursday at Greenwood.
