Marshfield boys basketball wins fourth straight, downs Baraboo

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys basketball team won its fourth straight game, beating Baraboo 63-49 in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers improve to 12-5, while Baraboo falls to 4-12.

Elliot Ashbeck poured in 27 points on 10 of 16 shooting from the field. He made all five of his free throw attempts and had a pair of 3-pointers.

Matt Oestreich (two 3-pointers), Luke Zuiker, Luke Olson and Ben Satter chipped in eight points apiece for the Tigers.

Marshfield had 22 assists on its 24 baskets led by Brandon Brown’s 11.

Marshfield plays a pair of road games next week – at Lakeland on Tuesday and at D.C. Everest on Friday.
