Marshfield JV boys basketball team slides past Lakeland

MINOCQUA – The Marshfield JV boys basketball team improved to 12-6 with its second straight nonconference victory – a 41-35 win at Lakeland on Tuesday night.

Craig Serchen had 13 points and six rebounds, Alex Strege added 12 points and nine rebounds and Jeff Allison chipped in 10 points four rebounds and three assists for the Tigers.

Marshfield trailed 21-17 at halftime before posting a 15-6 third-quarter advantage to pull ahead.

The Tigers made just 10 of 20 free throws, but shot 45 percent from the field, making 18 of 40 shots.

Marshfield plays at D.C. Everest on Friday.
