SPENCER – Courtney Schulz made 9 of 13 shots and scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Spencer girls basketball team to a 55-24 rout of winless Abbotsford in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Spencer High School.
Stacey Baumgartner added 10 points on 5 of 6 shooting for the Rockets, who improve to 13-5 with the victory. Abbotsford, led by Kim Lecheler’s 11 points, falls to 0-18.
Spencer shot 50.9 percent from the field, making 28 of 55 shots, while holding Abbotsford to 8 of 46.
The Rockets return to Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Thursday at home against Colby.
