RIB LAKE – Spencer senior center Courtney Schulz proved to be unstoppable during Monday’s girls basketball game at Rib Lake.
Schulz made 14 of 18 shots from the field, pouring in 28 points as the Rockets blasted Rib Lake 74-26 in a nonconference game.
Kyleigh Hebert added 16 points and 14 assists, and Krystal Weier scored eight points, had seven steals and five assists for the Rockets (13-5). Tara Matter chipped in 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Spencer led 34-16 at halftime, then blew the game open with a 21-0 third-quarter run.
Morgan Thums and Brooke Brandner each scored eight points for Rib Lake (1-15).
Spencer hosts Colby on Thursday.
