University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County basketball players Paige Albrecht and Jake Scheppler were named Wisconsin Collegiate Conference West Division Players of the Year, as voted on by the conference coaches.
Albrecht was named the Women’s Player of the Year and to the first-team WCC West all-conference team. Scheppler was named the Men’s Player of the Year and a WCC West first-team all-conference player as well.
Marauders women’s coach Rhonda Keding was named the WCC West Coach of the Year.
UW-Marshfield’s Marissa Draxler was an honorable mention choice for the women, and Brandon Herr and Jesse Bejcek were honorable mention picks for the men’s team.
