AUBURNDALE – Eleven different Auburndale players scored and the Apaches forced 14 steals and held Chequamegon to 27 percent shooting in a 43-21 rout Thursday night in a Marawood Conference North-South third-place crossover game at Auburndale High School.
Brianna Meyer scored nine points to lead the balanced attack for Auburndale, which wraps up the regular season with a 15-7 record.
Auburndale eased past the Screaming Eagles, outscoring them by between four and eight points in each quarter.
The Apaches have a first-round bye in the upcoming WIAA playoffs and will host the winner of theTri-County-Stratford game in a Division 4 regional semifinal on Friday, March 9.
