MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team beat Greenwood for the second time in a little more than a week, this time in a WIAA Division 5 regional semifinal, 62-44 on Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
The third-seeded Dons (19-5) won for the sixth time in their last seven games and move on to a Division 5 regional final on Saturday at Clayton (23-1).
Clayton, the No. 2 seed in the sectional bracket, has won 20 straight games since its only loss on Dec. 10 – 36-35 at Drummond. The Bears beat Bruce 71-42 in a regional semifinal on Friday.
