HOLCOMBE – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team is peaking at the right time.
The 10th-seeded Dons won their second straight road game in the playoffs, knocking off No. 2 seed Lake Holcombe 57-51 on Friday night in a WIAA Division 5 regional semifinal at Lake Holcombe High School.
Columbus (8-15) will hit the road again Saturday, taking on No. 6 seed Turtle Lake (15-9) in a Division 5 regional final at 7 p.m. at Turtle Lake High School. Turtle Lake upset No. 3 seed Prentice 39-29 on Friday.
