MARSHFIELD – Neillsville pounded out 15 hits and took advantage of four errors to knock off Marshfield Columbus Catholic 13-1 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Monday at Jack Hackman Field.
The Warriors (7-9, 7-5 Cloverbelt East) scored three runs in the top of the first inning against Columbus Catholic starter Jeremy Binder, then added another seven from the third through fifth innings to pull away.
Columbus, which drops to 4-9 overall and 4-7 in the conference, plays at Augusta on Tuesday.
