MARSHFIELD – First and second graders that participated in the Grant Elementary School Soccer Club in Marshfield concluded five weeks of instruction, fun and exercise on Wednesday, May 16.
The Soccer Club, spearheaded by second-grade teacher Donna Smith and assisted by numerous other teachers, parents and fifth- and sixth-grade students, is in its second year and is designed to provide students with an after-school activity to provide exercise while teaching the basics of soccer.
Third and fourth graders participated in the Soccer Club on Fridays after school.
