Two Spencer underclassmen were among the 10 players selected to the first team of the 2012 Cloverbelt East Division all-conference baseball team, as voted on by the conference coaches.
Sophomore Alex Brostowitz and freshman Mitchell Susa were picked to the first team all-Cloverbelt East squad after helping Spencer to an 11-11 overall record and an 11-7 mark in the conference, which was good enough for third place.
Both Marshfield Columbus Catholic and Spencer had one player selected to the second team and one more as honorable mention.
Columbus senior Mike Iwanski and Spencer senior Jordan Buss were second-team picks, while Columbus senior Pat Sullivan and Spencer senior Tanner Hoffman were honorable mention choices.
Greenwood, which won the conference title with a perfect 18-0 record, had four first-team selections, including player of the year Hayden Hinker.
