MARSHFIELD – Paige Albrecht scored 16 points, had six steals, four assists and four rebounds to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a 47-26 win over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.
Albrecht hit 8 of 15 shots from the field as the Dons shot 39 percent overall (23 of 58) from the field.
Eight other Dons scored in the win, with Lindsay Brandt leading that group with six points. Brandt also topped Columbus in rebounding with five.
Jordan Beilke scored nearly half of Granton’s points, finishing with 12. She made 7 of 8 from the free-throw line.
Columbus (11-7, 9-5 Cloverbelt East) is at Loyal on Friday and wraps up its Cloverbelt East schedule Monday at home against Augusta.
