MARSHFIELD – Green Bay Notre Dame, Merrill and Marshfield each went 4-1 at the Marshfield Volleyball Invitational on Tuesday at Marshfield High School.
Notre Dame won the tournament title via tiebreaker, with Merrill finishing second.
Marshfield lost 2-1 to Green Bay Notre Dame (25-17, 22-25, 15-13), and went on to defeat Baldwin-Woodville 25-12, 25-12; Wausau Newman Catholic 25-14, 25-13; Antigo 26-24, 25-4; and Merrill 19-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Standings: Green Bay Notre Dame 4-1, Merrill 4-1, Marshfield 4-1, Wausau Newman Catholic 1-4, Antigo 1-4, Baldwin-Woodville 0-5.
Tiffany Stargardt led the way for Marshfield with 51 kills and 41 digs. Courtney Bauer added 28 kills, Mikala Sebastian had 24 kills, including 11 block kills, and setter Tori Nanstad had a team-high 97 assists for the Tigers.
Darian Molter led the Marshfield defense with 62 digs, Miranda Forrest added eight block kills and Chelsea Akin topped the Tigers with four service aces.
Marshfield will take part in the Sun Prairie Invitational on Friday and Saturday, then will open Wisconsin Valley Conference action on Aug. 30 at Wausau West.
