STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield freshman football team played to a 21-21 tie Thursday at P.J. Jacobs Middle School.
Nick Hoheisel had touchdown runs of 48 and 57 yards, and Drew Hanson caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from Tyson Slade to account for Marshfield’s scoring plays. Zach McManus added three extra points.
Jakob Bohman, Craig Lyon and Josh Lang led the Tigers’ defense in tackles.
Marshfield will be back in action Sept. 6 at Wausau West.
