MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls tennis team swept the three doubles matches and got another win from No. 1 singles player Elizabeth Manlick to top Phillips 4-3 in a Great Northern Conference match Thursday.
The win gives the Dons a season sweep over Phillips and improves their record to 3-5 in GNC play. Phillips remains winless at 0-7.
Manlick topped Sam Patrick 6-1, 6-0, to improve to 8-0 in the conference this season.
Rebecca Lamermayer and Maria Garcia at No. 1, Katelyn Welsh and Nettie Kaiser at No. 2, and Lauren Derfus and Lindsey Schultz at No. 3 won their doubles matches for Columbus Catholic.
Columbus has matches at Lakeland on Tuesday and at Medford next Thursday.
