Eau Claire Regis dominates Spencer/Columbus football

SPENCER – Eau Claire Regis outgained Spencer/Columbus 322-69 and rolled to a 36-0 win over the Rockets on Friday night in Cloverbelt Conference football action at Spencer High School.

Regis improves to 4-0 and 3-0 in the Cloverbelt, while Spencer/Columbus falls to 2-2 overall and in conference play.

Khadel Akindolire ran for 96 yards and three touchdowns to lead Regis, which is ranked second in Division 6 in this week’s WisSports.net State Coaches Poll.

Regis racked up 313 yards rushing and held Spencer/Columbus without a pass completion and just three first downs.

Charlie Mayeux had 40 yards rushing to lead the Rockets.

Spencer/Columbus plays at Altoona next Friday.
