STRATFORD – Travis Urlaub rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns and Drew Spaeth added 179 yards passing to lead the Stratford football team to a 46-13 rout of Tomahawk in Marawood Conference action Friday at Tiger Stadium.
Stratford improves to 3-1 and stays unbeaten at 3-0 in the Marawood. Tomahawk falls to 1-3 overall and in conference.
Stratford cruised out to a 19-0 lead with three first-quarter touchdowns, and added two more in the second quarter to go up 32-0 by halftime.
Eli Temanson added 56 yards rushing and two touchdowns and Hunter Kaufman caught four passes for 97 yards and a score from Spaeth. Jadyn Steines added a 59-yard touchdown run and Joe Franklin had a rushing touchdown for the Tigers.
Stratford outgained Tomahawk 445-193, including 266 rushing yards on just 24 carries.
Stratford plays at Edgar in a battle of conference unbeatens next Friday. The game will be broadcast live on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and online at wdlbwosq.com.
