MARSHFIELD – Stevens Point handed the Marshfield volleyball team its first Wisconsin Valley Conference loss of the season with a 3-2 win on Thursday night at Marshfield High School.
Stevens Point won 25-23, 24-26, 18-25, 25-22, 19-17, to improve to 4-3 in the WVC, while Marshfield drops to 6-1.
Tiffany Stargardt had 30 kills and 30 digs, Tori Nanstad had 28 assists, Courtney Bauer had 26 assists, and Darian Molter served five aces for the Tigers.
Marshfield competes at the Neenah Invitational on Saturday.
