GREENWOOD – The Spencer girls basketball team fell into a tie for third place in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division with a 51-39 loss to Greenwood on Friday night at Greenwood High School.
The loss drops the Rockets to 14-7 overall and 10-5 in the Cloverbelt East. Spencer is tied for third place with Columbus Catholic after the Dons beat Loyal 38-37 on Friday. Spencer wraps up the Cloverbelt East season Monday at home against first-place Neillsville, while Columbus hosts Augusta.
Greenwood improves to 12-8, 9-7 in conference play.
