LA CROSSE – Cale Zuiker, a 2011 graduate of Marshfield High School, is playing for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men’s basketball team this season.
Zuiker transferred to La Crosse after scoring 14 points in 14 games at Division I Youngstown State last season.
Zuiker has scored 24 points in five games this season for La Crosse, tallying season-highs of eight against Edgewood College on Nov. 16 and Viterbo on Nov. 20.
Zuiker has drained four 3-pointers and grabbed nine rebounds as well for the Eagles, who are 5-0 and start their Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schedule Saturday at UW-Eau Claire. La Crosse has won all five games by double figures.
