Marshfield girls hockey rallies to down Badger Thunder

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield fell behind early but scored three unanswered goals and went on to defeat Badger Thunder (Baraboo co-op) 3-1 in a nonconference girls hockey game Monday night at the Marshfield Youth Ice and Recreation Arena.

Kaylee Geiger tied the game for Marshfield with a goal early in the second period and Paige Johnson scored the final two goals for the Tigers (3-2-1).

Alexis Straughan had 17 saves in goal for Marshfield.

Marshfield hosts Tomahawk in a Great Northern Conference match on Friday at 7 p.m.
