PITTSVILLE – The Spencer wrestling team finished 4-1 and placed second at the Pittsville Dual Tournament on Saturday.
Spencer defeated Black River Falls 43-27, Amherst 49-18, Tri-County 60-12 and Lake Mills 54-24, before dropping the final match to Pittsville 48-33. Pittsville won the team title with a 5-0 record.
Austin Post (106 pounds), Rudy Nieman (138), Zach Schneider (170), Lance Neumann (182) and Kyle Andreae (285) went 5-0 for the Rockets. Neumann and Andreae each improved to 12-0 and Nieman to 11-1 this season.
Tim Bauer (120), Dylan Schubert (126), Nate Neumann (132) and Brady Zais (152) were each 4-1 at the tournament for Spencer.
