STRATFORD – Barry Messmann scored a league-high 39 points in a loss as Arby’s topped Resource Recovery 83-75 during Stratford STAR League men’s basketball action Sunday.

*Victory Apparel edged Kafka Granite 88-87 behind 26 points from Dodge Langreck. Brian Heusi had 33 points and Ryan Schalow had 22 for Kafka.
*After Hours defeated Southway Pub 97-79. Richard Reinart had 28 points and Chris Klemke had 24 for After Hours. Mike Riemer scored 33 points and Tyler Korth added 23 for the Southway Pub.
*Dan Weinfurter scored 23 points to lead Kizzy & Sue’s Bar & Grill to a 59-51 win over A&B Process Systems.
