STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield wrestling team dropped its fourth straight Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet, losing 50—9 to Stevens Point on Thursday at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
SPASH improves to 4-0 in the conference, while Marshfield falls to 0-4.
Mitch Hertel defeated Dakota Kelz 7-1 at 138 pounds, Carsten Lovstad knocked off Tyler Hall 6-3 at 145, and Nic Humphrey beat Joe Firkus 4-3 at 195 for Marshfield’s only three wins.
The Tigers will compete at the Freedom Invitational on Saturday.
