SHEBOYGAN – Denver Anderson had Marshfield’s top finish, taking fifth in the 100-yard backstroke, as the Tigers boys swim team finished seventh among nine teams Saturday at the Redwing Invite at Sheboygan South High School.
Anderson swam the 100 backstroke in 1:06.40 to grab Marshfield’s highest finish at the meet.
Marshfield’s 200 freestyle relay team of Matt Brown, Nolan Hall, Evan Schneider and Anderson took sixth in 1:44.48, and the Tigers got seventh-place finishes from Schneider in the 200 IM (2:25.34) and Anderson in the 50 free (24.75).
Marshfield is off until Monday, Jan. 21, when it hosts Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual met.
