IOLA – Shannon Yahnke scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lift the Auburndale girls basketball team to its fourth straight victory, a 52-33 win over Iola-Scandinavia in a nonconference matchup Tuesday night at Iola-Scandinavia High School.
The Apaches led 28-22 at halftime, then outscored I-S 10-1 in the third quarter to pull away.
Nicole Nikolay added 11 poitns and five rebounds for the Apaches (8-4).
Auburndale plays at Edgar on Thursday in a Marawood South contest.
