Spencer’s Lance Neumann, Kyle Andreae win titles at 2013 Cloverbelt Conference Wrestling Tournament

SPENCER – Spencer had two champions and five runner-up finishes Saturday at the 2013 Cloverbelt Conference Wrestling Tournament at Spencer High School.

Lance Neumann won the title at 182 pounds and Kyle Andreae went unbeaten at 285 to win the championship in the round-robin format.

Neumann went 5-0 with three pins and a technical fall to win the 182-pound title.

Andreae pinned all three of his opponents at 285 pounds to cap off a championship.

Austin Post (106), Tim Bauer (120), Dylan Schubert (126), Trevor Ackman (138) and Zach Schneider (170) all finished second for Spencer. Bauer was 2-1, while the other four Rockets were 3-1.

Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal won the team title with 196 points, outlasting Cadott, which had 156. Spencer finished 10 points behind the Hornets, taking third with 146.

Spencer will wrestle at the WIAA Division 3 regional next Saturday at Auburndale.
