Marshfield gymnastics team posts season-high score, wins Tomah Triangular

TOMAH – The Marshfield gymnastics team had a season-high 125.95 points to win the Tomah Triangular on Thursday at Tomah High School.

Tomah was second with 115.175 points and Arcadia was third with 110.925.

Marshfield’s Olivia Tierney took second in the all-around with 33.875 points, finishing behind winner Brandi Bjorge of Arcadia (34.725). Hannah Marsch (31.95) was third and Megan Smith (29.025) was fifth for the Tigers.

Marsch won the uneven bars with a score of 8.0, and Tierney took first in the vault (8.85) and floor exercise (9.2).

Marshfield is now off for more than a week, returning to action Saturday, Feb. 16 when it takes part in the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet at Stevens Point.
