HUDSON – The Marshfield boys swimming team’s season came to an end of as the Tigers had no state qualifiers Saturday at the WIAA Division 1 Hudson Sectional at Hudson High School.
The winner of each event, and the top 18 from the eight Division 1 sectionals that didn’t win the event move on to the WIAA State Boys Swimming Championships next Friday and Saturday at the UW Natatorium in Madison.
Marshfield finished last among the 11 teams at the sectional with 74 points.
Eau Claire Memorial/North won the team title with 388 points, with Hudson second with 303 points.
Denver Anderson had Marshfield’s top individual performance, taking 10th in the 50 freestyle in 24.01 seconds.
Evan Schneider took 11th in the 200 IM in 2:20.25 and was 12th in the 100 free in 54.37.
