STRATFORD – Brooke Schultze scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Stratford girls basketball team to a 62-53 win over Northland Lutheran on Monday night at Stratford High School.
Amanda Rindfleisch and Hannah Schmitt each added 13 points for the Tigers, get back to the .500 mark at 9-9 overall and 3-9 in the Marawood Conference South Division. Northland Lutheran drops to 6-11 and 2-9 in the conference.
Stratford pulled out to a 33-21 lead by halftime and held off the Wildcats the rest of the way.
Jenna Terek had 13 points and six rebounds for Northland Lutheran.
Stratford plays at Pittsville on Tuesday.
