SPENCER – Aleyna Goerlitz scored 25 points and had seven rebounds to lead Owen-Withee to a 64-37 win over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Tuesday at Spencer High School.
Goerlitz was 9 of 11 from the field and 7 of 9 from the free throw line to lead the Blackhawks.
Owen-Withee jumped out to a 35-15 by halftime and upped its lead to 25 after three quarters.
Owen-Withee improves to 16-3 overall and 14-2 in the Cloverbelt East, while Spencer falls to 10-9 and 7-9 in the conference after suffering its second loss in a row.
Tara Matter had 17 points and 12 rebounds for Spencer.
Spencer is at Colby on Thursday.
