PITTSVILLE – The Stratford girls basketball team dominated from the start, rolling past Pittsville 58-11 in a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday night at Pittsville High School.
The Tigers outscored Pittsville 21-0 in the first quarter and led 39-4 at halftime as they cruised to their second win in a row.
Brooke Schultze made 10 of 13 free throws and finished with a game-high 21 points. Hannah Schmitt added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Stratford.
Stratford plays at Northland Lutheran on Thursday in the teams’ second meeting this week. The Tigers won the first game 62-53 on Monday.
