MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team moved on to the regional finals with a 58-50 win over Wisconsin Rapids Assumption in a WIAA Division 5 regional semifinal Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
Columbus Catholic (18-6) will host Cochrane-Fountain City (18-6) in a Division 5 regional final at 7 p.m. Saturday at Columbus. The winner moves on to a sectional semifinal next Thursday at Neillsville.
Assumption finishes the season with an 11-13 record.
