GREENWOOD – Marshfield Columbus Catholic managed just two hits in each game of a doubleheader and fell to Greenwood 8-0 and 14-1 in Cloverbelt Conference East Division softball action Monday.
Katelyn Welsh and Tori Schlagenhaft had singles in the opener, and McKenna Immerfall and Lindsey Schultz tallied hits in the second game for Columbus (0-6 overall and Cloverbelt East).
Greenwood improves to 5-3 overall and in the Cloverbelt East.
The Dons play at Spencer for a conference doubleheader on Tuesday.
