ANTIGO – The Marshfield American Legion baseball team split a doubleheader with Antigo on Monday as it opened its 2013 campaign.
The Blue Devils won the first game 14-3 before losing the second game 13-10.
Marshfield hit four home runs in the twinbill. Daulton Varsho hit two long balls and Bo Howard and Caleb Alexander each hit a home run for the Blue Devils.
Jack Donahue earned the victory in the first game for Marshfield.
Marshfield returns to action Tuesday at Wisconsin Rapids.
