MARSHFIELD – A record turnout of 48 runners and walkers competed in the 22nd annual Marshfield Predictor Mile on Tuesday at Marshfield Middle School.
Steve Frericks was the winner of the traveling trophy, with his predicted time coming to within 0.02 seconds of his actual time.
Sarah Goetz was a close second, finishing less than one-half second from her predicted time.
The fastest time of the run was by Mitch Easker, who ran the mile in 4:49.
