Tynae Phillips added 10 kills and three blocks, Macie Weber had four blocks, Lindsey Vaughan had a team-high 22 digs, Julie Berres had four aces and Brooke Kettleborough topped the Rockets with 48 assists.
“We played pretty solid against McDonell and Pittsville, then the wheels came off vs. Stanley-Boyd,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “We hurt ourselves with a ton of missed serves and mental errors. Those are two things we should be able to improve on quickly.”
Spencer is back in action Saturday at the Marathon Invitational.
