MARSHFIELD – Tyson Slade threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns, and the Marshfield offense rolled up 502 yards in a 38-13 win over Wausau East in JV football action Thursday at Beell Stadium.
Slade threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Huettl and a 36-yard scoring strike to Adam Fravert.
Nick Hoeheisel had 91 yards rushing, Drew Hanson added 87 and a touchdown and Cesar Ortega had 85 yards, including a 55-yard TD run in the first quarter, to lift the Tigers (2-0).
Marshfield had 338 yards rushing on just 39 carries.
The Tigers JV team plays at Fond du Lac at 6 p.m. Thursday.
