OSSEO – The Marshfield girls golf team regained the lead in the overall Clover Valley Golf League standings with a first-place finish at the third leg of the tournament Thursday at Osseo Golf Club.
Molly Field tied for second with a 43 and Ana Jensen was fifth with a 45 to lead the Tigers to a team score of 185. Eau Claire Regis finished second with a 192.
Marshfield came into the meet tied for the overall lead in the team standings with Osseo-Fairchild, but the Thunder finished fourth, 16 shots in back of the Tigers.
Jordyn Fitzgerald tied for sixth with a 47 and Macy Fitzgerald added a 50 for Marshfield.
Marshfield will compete at the Sparta Invitational on Saturday and will play in the fourth leg of the Clover Valley tournament Tuesday at Neillsville.
