Stratford football remains unbeaten with shutout of Eau Claire Regis

STRATFORD – The Stratford football team continued its early-season dominance as it posted its second-straight shutout in a 13-0 nonconference win over Eau Claire Regis on Friday night at Tiger Stadium.

The win improves Stratford’s record to 3-0 overall. Regis drops to 2-1.

Eli Temanson had a pair of rushing touchdowns to account for all of the scoring for the Tigers.

Stratford hosts Marathon next Friday, Sept. 13, in a Marawood Conference game. Marathon is also 3-0 overall and in the Marwood, while Stratford is 2-0 in the conference. The game starts at 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium and will be broadcast on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and wdlbwosq.com.
